A new online bookish magazine

Bookshelf Magazine is a new online magazine for book lovers.

Bookshelf Magazine will be a website for book lovers, publishing articles on its website multiple times per week, with biannual 'flip-through' traditional style magazines, available to read online. In the future we'll be launching other content, like videos and podcasts!

We want to be the go-to source for all bookish content, in all genres. We'll publish a new book review weekly, we'll let you know about all the upcoming new releases, we'll write some opinion pieces and open up discussion, and we'll have some fun, too!

We'll have our finger on the pulse of the publishing industry, too, and give booklovers all the industry information they want to know, including bestseller lists, publishing trends, and an insight into what it's like to work in the industry.

Most importantly, we want to get stuck into the community! We'll feature your favourite bookish content creators, shout out some fantastic bookstagrammers and book bloggers and booktubers, we'll share our favourite creator-founded content, and keep you up to date with all the readathons and community events!

READERS

Love the sound of the magazine? Want to become a reader? Great! There are so many ways you can support Bookshelf Magazine and help it to become a real thing!

First up, you can donate to our crowdfunder. There's more information on the funding page, but the money will go towards paying for the website (and that's it!). As little as one £/$/€ can really help!

You can also follow us on Twitter and Instagram, and help us spread the word by retweeting, liking our pictures, and spreading this site around.

BLOGGERS &

BOOKTUBERS

If you're a bookish content creator and you want to get involved, there are so many ways you can do this! We're always looking for contributors, so get in touch with @bookshelf_mag on twitter to get access to our writers' Slack group. We don't need a huge commitment, so don't worry about biting off more than you can chew - we can work out something to suit however much time you have to help out!

If you're interested in helping us to create other types of content, like videos or podcasts, we have big plans for those too, so do get in touch.

BOOKSTAGRAM

Bookstagrammers! You lot don't get enough credit for your amazing photography skills!

Here's the thing: Bookshelf Magazine needs a lot of photos, of general bookish things like bookshelves, piles of books, books and snacks...Here's the other thing: We need help creating them!

If you would like to donate a photo or two for Bookshelf Magazine to use, we would love to have it! With full credit to you, of course, and a big shoutout about how fantastic you are!

PUBLISHERS

Publishers - where would we be without you, eh?

If you're excited about the idea of a new magazine for booklovers that's up to date with new releases, that's in touch with what's going on in the industry, and that is deeply rooted in the bookish community, there are plenty of ways you can get involved.

We would love to recieve your press releases so we always know what's going on! If you'd like to get in touch about sending us a book to review or collaborating in other ways, we'd love to hear from you. DM us on Twitter or email us!
